Education is the transforming pillar of human life, which is why at Elcatex Group we promote initiatives such as the “Conectando mi Futuro” program.
This program is developed by the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) in collaboration with the multinational technology company Microsoft, which seeks to develop and strengthen technological skills in employees, preparing them for the new demands of the textile industry, and thus contribute to raise the levels of employability.
We are proud to congratulate our 25 employees who completed their diploma in this first promotion in the areas of Project Management Skills Development, Introduction to Data Analysis and Collaborative Work Tools. We would also like to make a special mention to Mariana Iglesias, who obtained Academic Excellence in the Project Management Skills diploma.
The ceremony took place in the UNITEC SPS Campus auditorium last Friday, August 12, with the presence of Dr. Marlon Brevé, Rector of UNITEC and CEUTEC; Eng. Mario Canahuati, President of the Asociación Hondureña de Maquiladores; Lic. María Roxana Espinal, Director of UNITEC SPS; Nadina Mazzoni, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of UNITEC, special guests from the textile maquiladora industry and family members of the graduates.
Together with UNITEC and the Asociación Hondureña de Maquiladores, Elcatex Group reaffirms its commitment to the development and strengthening of the skills of professionals in Honduras.
